Paradigm Coffee Company was born from the notion that coffee could (and should) be delicious and affordable. Unsatisfied with the lackluster brews in their office coffee pots, Paradigm founders began to roast coffee in the comfort of their homes but soon discovered that replacing bland blends inside and outside the workplace proved to be cumbersome and expensive. What first began as a modest quest for quality coffee would take off to become one of Chicago’s notable roasters.
Our blend includes arabica beans from cooperatives in Brazil and Colombia. Our Brazil comes from the Cerrado region of Brazil. Our Colombia beans come from family owned farms surrounding the city of Pereira.
Our blend is a full medium roast, which customers have described as smooth with a chocolate note. The blend includes Arabica beans from Brazil, Colombia, and Indonesia . Our Brazil comes from the Cerrado region of Brazil. Our Colombia beans come from family owned farms surrounding the city of Pereira. Today, we operate out of Chicago’s historic Back of the Yards neighborhood. Here, we roast, brew, and serve our medium roast to a diverse range of customers. Disinterested in today’s common practices of coffee puritanism, we roast an accessible, down-to-earth blend that is focused on bold simplicity. No gimmicks. No pretentious gadgets. Just great coffee.
